Last week (on October 26th and 27th, 2017), our CEO Sergey and our Community Manager Stephanie participated in the Hello Tomorrow Summit in Paris, France. Hello Tomorrow is a global organisation which gathers together a community of thousands of the world’s brightest talents, who leverage science and deep technologies to create a better future. This year’s Global Summit brought together investors, innovators, scientists, more than 500 startups and an overall of nearly 3 000 attendees, and gave them a platform to interact, discuss potential common endeavors and innovate. An essential part of the Summit is the Startup Challenge, where the 75 finalists compete in 10 topical tracks for the chance to win 100,000 euro. As innovators in the agricultural sector and one of the pre-selected finalists, we had the opportunity to pitch in the Food & Agriculture track along with 6 other great projects from all around the world.

Meanwhile, a side competition was taking place during the Summit as well – three IEEE* judges were searching for their N3XT Stars. The IEEE N3XT™ program is dedicated to the startup and investment community where technology entrepreneurs come together for in-person networking, inspiration, and learning how to turn ideas into opportunities. After a series of exciting interviews with more than 25 startups, the jury made their decision and we are happy to announce that Bee Smart Technologies was given the N3XT Star Title. This is a great recognition for us and encourages us to keep on striving and further developing our groundbreaking technology.

“IEEE gathers some of the best engineering and technology professionals in the world to provide a medium for collaboration and promote the use of technology for the betterment of humanity. Boy, are we at the right place!”, Sergey Petrov remarked.
Our team is constantly on the search for more efficient and sustainable technologies and is glad that the flexibility of the startup reality allows for rapid testing and prototyping through actual customer interaction. This is one of the ingredients in our secret sauce.
